| pt_BR |

dc.description.abstract1 | The current article presents the research results about the formulation and approval process of the Law that disposes about the sexual and moral harassment in Brazil. It was the objective identifying the factors that were fundamental during the process, whose hypothesis was: the complaints from victims of sexual and moral harassment were fundamental to the emergence of the legislation. In order to investigate the validity of this hypothesis, we applied the following research techniques: 1) document analysis, and 2) seven semi-structured interviews with open questions to people working in this area and/or followed the discussions about this legislation. It was found from this study that several factors contributed to the emergence of specific legislation, in addition to complaints, especially the participation of social movements, the feminist movement and the women's movement. | pt_BR |
