| Résumé: | Este artigo identifica a tensão entre hierarquia e heterarquia como um princípio estrutural que opera a favor da multiplicidade, da diferença e da autonomia no contexto dos sistemas regionais e da política-ritual ameríndia. Focando na relação entre dono/chefe de maloca e xamã, à luz das tensões nas relações entre irmãos mais novos/mais velhos, típicas da região do Alto Rio Negro, caracteriza-se a constituição de uma chefia bicéfala, onde ambos especialistas trabalham de forma complementar para atender às diferentes direções envolvidas na política, e os mecanismos que dificultam sua consolidação. |
| Abstract: | This article identifies the tension between hierarchy and heterarchy as a structural principle thatoperates in favor of multiplicity, difference and autonomy in the context of regional systems and Amerindian ritual politics. Focusing on the relationship between owner / chief of maloca and shaman, in light of the tensionsin the relations between younger / older brothers, typical of the Alto Rio Negro region, the constitution of a two-headed leadership is characterized, where both specialists work complement to meet the different directions involved in the policy, and the mechanisms that hinder its consolidation. |
