Geração elétrica distribuída a partir da gaseificação de peletes de cama de aviário

Abstract

Este trabalho tem por objetivo a gaseificação de peletes de cama de aviário. Com a crescente preocupação com o meio ambiente, principalmente com o aquecimento global, a escassez de energia e o seu custo futuro, o uso de fontes renováveis para a geração de energia elétrica ganhou destaque no cenário mundial. O principal rejeito da atividade avícola é a cama de aviário e a busca por alternativas de uso, manejo e destino são necessários para o desenvolvimento sustentável do setor. Análises químicas da cama de aviário e das cinzas provenientes da gaseificação foram realizadas viabilizando o uso. Neste estudo, a qualidade energética do gás foi estimada por meio de um conjunto moto-gerador e um sistema de dissipação de energia. O nível de substituição do óleo Diesel foi da ordem de 36,22%. Para o uso na gaseificação, a peletização do material foi necessária com vantagens no transporte e estocagem do combustível, e um melhor controle da combustão além de aumentar a sua densidade energética. Análises químicas das cinzas foram realizadas detectando altos teores de Fósforo (P) e Potássio (K). Uma análise do Custo/Beneficio do kilowatt indicou que para uma potência de 39 kW o preço do kilowatt gerado por essa tecnologia tem o mesmo valor do preço cobrado pela concessionaria. A gaseificação da cama de aviário surge como uma alternativa de uso do material considerando aspectos sanitários, econômicos e ambientais agregando valor ao produto final. _______________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT

This paper aims the gasification of pellets of poultry litter.With the growing concern for the environment, specially global warming, energy shortages and its future cost, the use of renewable sources as electricity generation rose to prominence in the worldwide scenery. The main waste from the poultry activity is the poultry litter and the search for alternatives of usage, handle and destination are needed for the sustainable development of the sector. Chemical analysis of poultry litter and of the ashes from the gasification were carried out with the objective of the feasibility of using the material. In this study, the energetic quality of the gas was estimated through a motor-generator set and a system of energy dissipation. The level of replacement of diesel was 36,22%. For the use in gasification, the pellet of the material was necessary with advantages in transportation and storage of fuel, and a better control of combustion besides increasing its energy density. Chemical analyses of the ashes were made by detecting high levels of phosphorus (p) and potassium (k). An analysis of cost/benefit of kilowatt indicated that, to a power of 39 kw the price of the generated by this technology has the same value of the price charged by the dealer. The gasification of the poultry litter appears as an alternative of the use of the materials considering sanitary, economical and environmental aspects, adding value to the final product.
